My presentation deals with a Teacher Certification Renewal System program I carried out in 2017. I analyzed various quantitative and qualitative data, and considered some pedagogical implications for professional and autonomous development. The participants (27 secondary EFL teachers) learned and discussed various concepts in ELT, and rated themselves in terms of good language-teaching characteristics. The response tendency seemed to be similar between the present study and my previous studies, and they tended to lack pedagogical skills for innovation in ELT. I would continue to help more teachers to develop their autonomy as the program would be offered every year.
