Short paper (30 minutes)
Ana Ines Salvi (University of Warwick)
This paper is based on a doctoral study on criticality development in my own English for Academic Purposes (EAP) teaching practice in Higher Education in the UK via pedagogy for autonomy, Exploratory Practice (EP), and arts-informed research methods. This paper presents what signs of criticality there were in my EAP teaching practice in the light of Critical English for Academic Purposes (CEAP), critical thinking, critical pedagogy and critical theory, and how pedagogy for autonomy, EP and arts-informed research methods were conducive to its development.
