How can teachers in their classrooms or tutors in a self-access center help a learner develop autonomy if they themselves have not experienced it? How about promoting teacher autonomy to help them decide what they need to do to become Language Learning Advisors? This presentation will provide a glimpse at a project that was looking to give teachers the experience of autonomy necessary to be more aware of what it takes to be an autonomous learner to better accompany students in their journey.
